YEAR: 2014
The poster is a typographic game with the word CYRK (Polish for circus). It derives from the tradition of the highly-acclaimed circus posters that were one of the most recognized subjects for the Polish School of Poster Art, popular for their mastery of dynamic composition, vibrant colours, handmade typography and humour, as well as their splashes of ambiguity. In this case, each clown stands for one of the letters – c,y,r and k, respectively. It was designed in a traditional way as an analogue collage.
