YEAR: 2022
A poster design to promote my solo show at the Łódź Design Festival. As a hybrid of word and image, this poster creates great aesthetic tension. The linear pictorial layer permeates and complements bold and modern typographic shapes, creating a poster full of aspects. The exhibition Only Ola Niepsuj is a cross-sectional presentation of posters and personal works from across the last decade. Showcasing trademark sense of humor, finesse and charm, the poster composition resembles a child-like illustration mixed with vernacular typography. It reimagines the viewer experience of the show, where the original drawings and collages from archive are juxtaposed with commercial, graphic design work.
