(A)pollonia is a Festival of New Polish Drama in NYC at Staged Readings by American Artists. The five-day festival, (A)pollonia: a Festival of Readings of New Polish Plays, took its name from the first compiled volume of publications, with nearly 600 pages of play scripts, extensive introductions and essays by its editors. The events included readings of seven plays by directors and prominent downtown companies – together with discussions and talkback sessions following the readings. The poster reflects the power of the written word and the unique atmosphere of theatre readings.
