YEAR: 2018 CLIENT: Lava Films
Film poster. Its layout refers to the tradition of Polish cut-outs and influenced by the vibrant colours of folk art, primarily from the Łowicz region. With a sense of playful ironic suspension, the form of the poster perfectly matches the plot of the film and its two symmetrical characters separated by a generational gap: an experienced hairdresser and her young carefree assistant to whom she tries to motherly pass on all the lessons of life. The clients of their salon are German seniors who cross the nearby border to a tiny Polish town, in search of cheaper hairdressing services.
