Series of illustrations for children’s poetry book (concept): Iceweed and Ivy (Original Title: Lodorosty i Bluszczary) is a selection of poems for children written over three decades, from the mid-1950s by the excellent poet and prose writer, Jerzy Ficowski. The applied visual language is both realistic and evocative, balancing between structure and improvisation, between painting and graphic style – resulting in a thought-provoking image for the adolescent reader.
